Re-inventing the German ancestors Heritage review

We're back!

We appreciate your understanding about missing the December issue of the German ancestors Heritage review. We know you look forward to receiving it each quarter, and apologize again that we missed an issue.

But the gift of this transition time has allowed us to take a fresh look at the contents, format, and delivery of the Heritage Review. We thank those of you who took the time to write to us with your ideas!

We've heard you say you're not interested in the Heritage Review being a scholarly journal, but prefer to see articles that directly reflect the experiences of our Black Sea German ancestors. This will be our main focus in the future. We'll also be looking for these types of articles to translate into English.

We've also decided to consolidate the German ancestors Heritage review News. Your favorite columns, such as Folklore, News, and committee updates, will now be found in the Heritage Review.

Our membership is avidly interested in family research, and German ancestors Heritage review volunteers are continually making more research data available! The Heritage Review will now report regularly on new data that has been obtained.

Another exciting development, that many of you have asked about, is that we will now be making the Heritage Review available online! Each month we will send an e-mail to German ancestors Heritage review membership to let you know when it is available to be downloaded from the website. You can read it immediately - no waiting for printing or mailing!

If you're reading the Heritage Review online, please let us know that we can stop mailing the paper copy to you. E-mail us at. You get faster delivery and German ancestors Heritage review saves money - an unbeatable combination!

We want to hear your thoughts about the changes we're making. Tell us what you think. Until a new editor (or team) is selected, the Publications Committee of German ancestors will work together to put out each quarter's issue. If you have an article about your Black Sea german ancestors family that would be of interest to our readers. Submissions must be received 45 days in advance of each issue to be considered. For the June issue, submissions must be received by April 15th; for the September issue, by July 15th; for the December issue, by October 15th. (Electronic submissions are preferred; but typewritten submissions may be mailed to German ancestors Heritage review Headquarters in Bismarck, Attn: Submissions.)

Thanks for your support!
